Capture your next IoT opportunity and accelerate it with RIoT
If you have been involved with IoT as an entrepreneur or developer, we could say that you’ve felt that getting all the layers together is definitely not an easy undertaking. (Believe me, we've felt that too). Besides from doing your homework and carrying out integrations with hardware, connectivity and cloud, if you are launching a real IoT business solution to the market, you’ll need another secret sauce: communities, support and talented people around you to accelerate your deployments and assure you that you are not alone navigating this whole ecosystem.
We are excited to tell our community about our latest partnership between RIoT and Ubidots.
RIoT is an economic development nonprofit focused on Internet of Things (IoT) sector growth. RIoT hosts events across the country, helping to create and capture IoT opportunities for multinational companies, tech startups, research universities, nonprofits and smart cities. RIoT also runs an IoT-focused startup accelerator program and hardware prototyping lab.
Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, they’re a vibrant, fast and dynamic team of energetic team members always willing to help and find new ideas connecting around IoT (and whom we got the chance to actually meet in person on a sunny-Raleigh-day and got us some nice shirts as well, who doesn’t like geeky IoT souvenirs?)
Over the next months, we’ll be announcing some cool stuff and promoting mutual content around their podcasts, events and how Ubidots will contribute to RAP - RIoT Accelerator Program, with more than 75 companies across the IoT technology stack to learn, partner, and enable IoT products to market and scale.
More about the partners:
Ubidots is a low-code IoT development platform for engineers and developers without the time or energy to build an entire, production-ready IoT application themselves. From device-friendly APIs to a clean UI for your end-users, Ubidots provides the essential building blocks of smart products and services—such as Web or Mobile IoT Apps—without having to hire an expensive team of engineers to develop and maintain a customized solution.
RIoT: With more than 7,000 members on their ecosystem, RIoT represents a network of technologists, engineers, business leaders, academics, policy makers, and entrepreneurs, all of whom have a stake in the Internet of Things industry, helping companies capture emerging markets and accelerate startups. RIoT strives to create a community that captures IoT opportunities locally, nationally, and globally.
