Good day @nadvorvo,

I hope all is well, thank you for sharing your questions with the community. Allow me to address them in the same order so we can keep the structure.

  • having many same type devices divided between organizations

It is possible to have a Device type that contains devices from different organizations. Nonetheless, a device can only be assigned to one organization. So to give allow users to see data from multiple devices is assigning users to multiple organizations.

  • I would need users with maintenance provider role (each will be related to several organizations - take care of them)

You can set a specific role for those users that need to manage the devices and be able to modify them. By default, each Ubidots account has a role called Manager, that can do anything the admin can except creating, editing, or deleting end-users. For more information about the available permission, you can refer to the article below.

  • How to set email notification to be delivered corresponding maintenance provider user.

Can you please expand the expectation here? In Ubidots events, you can forward the alert to any number or email address you need so the manager of the device can correct or review what could be happening with the equipment in case there is an alert, is this what you are referring to?

I will be attentive to your response and let me know in case you have further questions.

All the best,

-Isabel

Hi @nadvorvo,

Thank you for your response. To create Global events, meaning monitoring a group of devices at the same time, please refer to the article below.
