Max synthetic variable not working

Hi,

I can add a synthetic variable to perform a round successfully - round( [Variable Name],2) but when I try the max function I just get the red error icon saying “invalid expression”. I’m simply using max( [Variable Name], “7D”)

Could this be because I’m using the free version?

The advanced synthetic variables such as data range expressions are only available on our paid plans starting from the IoT Entrepreneur license.
