Reliability over time of simple dashboard under various browsers

Hi everyone,

I have noticed that under Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 m a dashboard would lock up after about 4-5 hours. I hate IE so I’m not going to use it as a benchmark or even compare results but I wonder if someone has observed the same results. I am talking super simple dashboard; one gauge and one graph. Dots pushed every 30 seconds from the source; one variable and one source that is.

Once locked up the entire tab is unresponsive; no menus respond to clicks and pretty much I have to kill it. Of course it happens on different laptops so the only common denominator I can think of is Version 39.0.2171.95 m (that’s the latest one pushed down by Google).

Any thoughts?

Hi @bubba198, thanks for reporting this. We’ll try to reproduce it and come back to you with an update.

We were able to reproduce this issue. It’s related to the Line Chart widget, which becomes unstable when left open for a long period of time. We’ll write a fix and let you know when it’s up.

Hi @bubba198, yes, thanks again for reporting this. The fix is actually deployed now, can you verify the performance on your side?
