[SOLVED] Nodemcu ESP-12E

I follow all instructions to set up my ESP12E with Ubidot from the instructable “Connect Your ESP8266 to Any Available Wi-Fi Network”, but when I try to verify it, I got the following message:

Board nodemcuv2 (platform esp8266, package esp8266) is unknown

Error compiling for board NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module).

Can someone help me? I’m frustrated after several attempt, and nothing works.

Greetings, unfortunately errors related to the ESP8266 library wrapper for Arduino are out of our scope, it seems that your issue has already been reported and solved by the official developer of the library so please refer to the possible solution at this thread.

I did it, but doesn’t work. I tried uninstall Arduino from my computer,ut and install again, but doesn’t work too, I’m frustrated after several attempt, Can I have another way to fix it?

Hi @wdlarosa, I am sorry that you could not fix it. As this is an issue related to the ESP8266 (which we do not develop or maintain) the most appropriate in this case is that you open an Issue at the developer’s repository, in that way you can find proper assistance for your problem.
