[SOLVED] POST request says that 'User dots limit reached'

Hi!

Up until yesterday, my account was working fine. Now, POST request gives me the following message:

{“temperaturerequest”: [{“errors”: {“error”: “User dots limit reached.”}, “status_code”: 400}]}

I’m using STEM account, which I do know has limitations, but as far as I know I have not reached the 4000 dots/day limitation.

I hope all is well.

Thank you for letting us know about this situation, I reviewed in our registers and indeed 3 days ago you exceed the limit of 4,000 dots per day. So that is the reason for the 400 response.

One more quick question: is this 4000 dots limitation relatively new condition? The reason why I’m asking, because browsing tru my April month usage, I see that there were days, when I was able to POST almost 42k dots in a single day.

Thank you for your response.

This is not a new condition, however in the past few days we presented an issue with the dots limitation for STEM accounts, that is already solved. That is probably the reason why you could send more dots than included.
