[SOLVED] WiFire Unsuccessful TCP connection

Hi,

While trying to connect my wifire boards to Ubidots cloud through TCP I often get timeout errors. Only few hours a day I can connect without problem and send value. Most of the time Ubidots services doesn’t respond to request. I’ve pinged things.Ubidots.com and avg ping is 300ms(pretty high in my opinion). Is there any problem with Ubidots cloud or something is wrong on my side?

Hi,

What’s your country? Ubidots has high latency in some countries (ex: Malaysia or Israel), at this time the servers are in San Jose (USA)

Best,
Gustavo.

I live in Poland. I’ve looked into my TCP stack library code and problem could lie somewhere else - often when connection is lost device return “DNSNotEnoughMem”. Not sure what this mean in this contex (documention is rather poor) so I will ask the producent of the WiFi module.

Thanks for the reply,
Bartek
