[SOLVED] Using Device Types via MQTT

Hi

I’ve been using device types when sending data via HTTP and its a great feature.

Now I have devices reporting via MQTT, and I would like them to also be auto-assigned a device type and device tasks. Any way to accomplish this?

Greetings @tom, device types are supported actually just via HTTP, we hope to add this functionality for TCP and MQTT in the middle term. The only way to do this actually, is with an on-premise MQTT gateway, if this is something that you are interested in please send us a note through the embedded chat or to sales@ubidots.com

Thanks @jotathebest , it would be nice to have, meantime I will use the handy Bulk create with CSV which works great as well.
