We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to own our marketing funnel. You will be in charge of attracting visitors, converting them into new leads, and nurturing those leads so that our sales leadership can close them into customers. You will review our marketing plan, manage providers involved in the execution of this plan, and perform some parts yourself through hands-on inbound/outbound marketing activities.
Build, budget and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, social media, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
Build, budget and manage an events calendar with key industry events and how you need our company to be involved (sponsorship, key-note speaker, booth, attendant, etc.).
Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company.
Manage email campaigns including a bi-monthly newsletter and lead nurturing Emails.
Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
Automate our lead-generation process using Hubspot.
Review results with our funding team to understand how our marketing activities are helping attract the right leads, and continually optimize this process to increase conversion rates.
Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as community sites like Hackster and Instructables.
Interact and encourage the interaction of the team in external sites, and track their success (e.g. LinkedIn discussions, Technical forums, comment forms, etc.).
Explore new ways to engage our target audience.
Have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Be dual-minded; highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven and rely on data to make decisions.
Bonus: Design skills, startup experience and blogging.
